This coin sorter was inspired by a cardboard one I saw on youtube by Mini Gear.
I used this gear box by Sbrunel. www.thingiverse.com/thing:340727 and I used these coin counters by jfn302. www.thingiverse.com/thing:2460653
I made this with a hand crank because I like to use all 3D printed parts but it could be easily modified for a motor. Super glue was used to hold parts together. The coin counters will hold one roll of coins each when filled to the lower edge. If you don't need to have them counted you can just leave them out and let the coins fall into the drawer.
You can see it in action here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asL2RjDYCPA
Some of the tolerances are pretty tight so you may need a file or a little sandpaper.
I have alternate files for grabber base and sorter base that take them apart into flat parts that would have to be glued together but they might fit on a smaller print bed.
