Just in time for Halloween!
I like this "Thingi" (Thank you DEL_1979) but, after one failed print attempt, I thought it was too difficult for my inexpensive printer. So I cut the front half of the skull into two pieces (Headache), and removed some of the floating unattached parts of the model. This is sliced in such a way as to eliminate the need for supports for the large cavity inside. I still recommend supports for the other features. I added some locating studs, so it should just snap together. At least mine did.
I then thought it would be good to do the same for the back half (Backache). Same deal, with locating studs.
I recommend the remixed jaw, which I actually didn't print, but after printing the original I could see some problem areas blarbes mentioned. You may want the stand from the original or a remix.
Due to the size of my printer, I printed this at 95%. I intend to add some electronics (Circuit Playground Express and Servo Motor) inside. I may update when finished.
Printer Brand:
Monoprice
Printer:
Select Mini
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Filament: AMZ3D PLA
Notes:
The two parts of each half should snap together. Maybe add some glue, but mine are pretty secure without.
Each half "Headache" and "Backache" are like the original and need to be screwed together or whatever you'd like.
