The mysterious spaceship from the 1953 movie, "It Came From Out Space". It's so mysterious that I only had ONE reference photo of it to work with. In the movie it is shrouded in darkness and only certain parts are ever visible. This full ship model is from when it was coming in for a landing with fire coming from the side rockets.
The sphere was wonderfully generated from http://kitwallace.co.uk/3d/solid-index.xq?mode=solid&id=DualGeodesicIcosahedron10
Printer:
FLSUN Delta Mini Kossel
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
.2
Infill:
15%
Filament: AMZ3D PLA
Notes:
I used a brim on the sphere halves, but I didn't use supports because it came out better without them. Just try and put your filament temp a little lower with full fan on the part to help solidify the plastic quickly.
I printed the model at 150% size and it fit on my 180 diameter mini kossel delta printer just fine.
