This ia a 28mm model of the early war British Cruiser tank Mk 1, the A-9. Although only 120 copies were made is served with the BEF in France in 1940, in the Western Desert and in Greece in 1941.
I started with Tiger Ace's outstanding early war pack file of the A-9, enlarged it from 1/100th to 1/56th, add
sliced the tracks off into separate files
flattened the hull bottom - the A-9 and A-10 had "V" shaped hulls, but that poses issues with FDM printing so I played with history and made the bottom flat, as per the CAD pic in this post
created assembly notches for the tracks.
created turret pivot posts separate from the turrets, to minimize support required in print.
separated the main guns from the turrets to allow for a cleaner print
created a more defined shovel and track tool on the right side hull
The photos show both the 2 pounder armed turret plus the 3" Howitzer armed close support version.
The file enlarged from 1/100th with stil wonderful detail, and the test print came out well.
