Remixed for a longer handle grip as well as a more sturdy wand stick. I sacrificed the curvy wood look, but now it is much less prone to breaking. This model is made to the specifications of my sister's Pottermore wand, which is 12.5 inches.
I would strongly recommend printing both handle and stick (or complete piece) horizontal with a raft and supports. Printing like this as opposed to vertically will make the print significantly stronger and also give the plastic a sort of wood grain look. Also, printing it sideways is much faster. Do be aware that printing it horizontally, even with a raft, will probably result in a slight bow of the wand. However, in my opinion this makes it look more realistic and like it is carved wood. This is all just my opinion though!
