If you are printing in one color, print the two halves together in the orientation in the files. Use 15% infill. No supports are needed. If you are printing the rainbow version, see the README file for details on the color switches. It is much easier to print this top in a single color.
Assembly
The two halves contain 2 mm diameter alignment holes for gluing together. I recommend superglue. Snip off a short length of filament, less than 1 cm long. Insert into the holes to align and glue.
Design process
I took Shawn Gono's design file of the complete top, and cut it horizontally 5.6 mm from the bottom. Flipping the lower section over allows both halves to be printed without any support. If you go much higher with the cut the handle will be separate and it will not work.
I added a 2 mm alignment hole in each piece for perfect alignment of the two halves. Filament works well (and is plentiful) to make the alignment.
