Boeing B-29 Superfortress
The best bomber of the WWII is also sadly well-known because was the first to perform a nuclear bombing.
This aircraft has a russian twin (the Tu-4) made by Soviet Union who made unauthorized copy by reverse engineering over some B-29 landed in russian territory after raids over Japan.
The B-29 served as bomber , naval attacker, reconnaissance , tanker, transport, test bench, meteorological survey ... and whatever you can imagine ... yes, he did.
After the war a re-powered version with bigger tail called B-50 (former B-29D) served with USAF while waiting to be fully replaced by the new jet bombers (B-47).
BTW, if someone has some good blueprint of the of the B-50 i could make this variant too.
Till now i found only low res drawing and most has wrong proportions; mainly, new engines shape is what i'm looking for.
The model is provided in two versions: without propeller blades and without the whole propellers that can be printed separately and then glued as shown in the images.
Model 1:100 scale printed at 1:285 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.
Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0.
I opted for the two parts splitted version in order to reduce the needs f supports; using a bit of sandpaper at the end the glued junction is not so noticeable and once painted almost invisible.
Some brave can also try to add machine gun barrels by glueing short scraps of PLA ;).
ciao
