English Electric Canberra B2
British first-generation jet-powered medium bomber born as response to a Air Ministry requirement intended to replace the de Havilland Mosquito.
First flight in 1949 and operative with RAF in 1951; it was the first jet powered bomber in the world to enter operative service.
The variant chosen is the first production series and the one produced in greater numbers.
The Canberra did stay in service With RAF and other air forces for very long time in an incredible number of variants; also USA adopted this Bomber as B-57.
Model 1:100 scale printed at 1:285 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers.
Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0.
I opted for the two parts splitted version in order to maintain the most of tail and nose details; use a bit of sandpaper and at the end the glued junction is not so noticeable and once painted almost invisible.
