My family is playing through Lost Mines of Phandelver, slowly. Very slowly. We're at the one year mark.
Why? Because instead of slaying goblins, we raised a goblin warband (it's a crazy story, and Droop rolled insanely high to convince them) and are marching on Thundertree with an entire company of goblins. So we needed a proper enemy when we got there.
I scoured all the dragon models on Thingiverse but none of them felt quite right. However, boris3dstudio's realistic take on Charizard had a whole lot of potential. A few hours of surgery, touch-ups, and reposing in zbrush got me this, and I split it up for easier printing.
I haven't adjusted the scale and it's freaking massive. You'll probably want to print at 50% scale or less. I'm trying prints on my Rostock Max and my Elegoo Mars.
Printer Brand:

Doesn't Matter
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.1 - 0.2mm
Infill:
Body only
Notes:
I crunched the model down pretty coarse, but the tesselation looks kind of like reptile skin so it works nicely. I doubt you'll need more than .15mm on an FDM printer, or 0.03mm on a DLP printer (Elegoo, Photon, Formlabs, etc). I'm printing with a 0.4mm nozzle on my RMax at 0.14mm layer height.
