The Dark Octopusfolk have longer arms and a thinner skeletal structure than other octopusfolk. Some would almost say they are sickly looking, but in truth, possibly due to rumored elven blood, they tend to live longer than other octopusfolk. There also tend to be more sorcerers and sorceresses amongst their number, as natural magical talent bubbles forth. Their skill with working shell with alchemical treatments to make a flexible but strong armor that isn't hampered by the sea water that inevitably soaks it is somewhat legendary.
