Multi color version of this beautiful creature.
I've used the Large version to make the split.
It can still be downscaled - just verify the wall thickness of the ball not to drop below 2 or 3 printlines. The brave could also drop the line thickness for the ball...?
Several methods to slice this one yourself:
load the different stls
load the 3mf or amf
load the AllInOne
or a combination of the above.
Put the Ball as last object in slic3r such that the paws are taking priority over the ball and hence are sunk into the ball.
My first big split excercise.
Mainly using Meshmixer and its "complex" feature.
Also some extrudes and boolean differences.
... and a lot of trial and errors ...
I had like to sink the "pins" into the body, but the boolean diff feature failed me there.
Todo: actually print this guy... slic3r tells me it's gonna take 42h in 5 colors and the required support underneath the ball - maybe I should design a tree alike support structure myself...
slic3r als prodicts the wipe tower to use 60m filament - equally to the actual model...
