A printable model of the Ugly Duckling minion from FFXIV.
Scale up to at least 15,000% (in-game scale is extremely messed up).
Feet and body are printed separately to reduce strain where the feet attach to the body.
Feet have pegs to fit into body-holes. If body holes are too small, use a 1/16" drill bit to widen holes. I recommend not gluing the two parts together so that the feet will detach from the body when dropped or mishandled instead of breaking where you have to print a replacement.
Sanded with 120, 220, 400 grit sandpaper, then primed with automotive filler primer and sanded, then filled and sanded again and then finished with 800 grit wet sanding.
Sprayed a base coat of white spray paint then hand-brushed details in acrylics.
Model was exported from game files then edited in blender to smooth polygons while retaining details. Added pegs that slot into the body and a stand to the feet and separated them from the body for easier printing and cleanup without the chance of accidentally breaking the legs.
