A multi-piece model of a horse skeleton in approximately 1:12 scale.
The model was designed for SLA resin printing but it may be possible to print it with an FDM printer if scaled up. It was designed so that the pieces snap together with pin and socket joints.

Notes:
The bone parts were printed on a Peopoly Moai 130 laser SLA at 40um layer height. Asura was used to hollow the parts, create supports and generate the gcode for printing. The base and leg connecting pins were printed on an Ultimaker Original+ in PLA at 0.2mm layer height.
Post-Printing
I painted the skeleton parts with a light gray spray paint. The only glue needed is to attach the assembled skeleton to the base (if desired).
How I Designed This
The original model was created by Diego Luján García and is available on Sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/horse-skeleton-eaca504567604e879b8ab2cf2763025e) The modifications I made to make the model printable and to add the pin and socket joints were done in Meshmixer. The base was designed in Sketchup.
