Hi creators,
if you need a helping hand for your solder job, here is a solution.
Only non printable thing you need is a pair of loom bands to print your full working solder help.
The basic idea isn´t new and some other cool guyz have build semilar adjustable arms, but i build my own system to sweet my personal claims.
For printing this you need at first two different filaments.
One must be a flexible like Flexifill™ or Filaflex and the other can be any non flexible filament of your choice.
This is important to make the things fit and work properly.
Printer:
Hephestos Prusa I3
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
0,1 - 0,3mm
Infill:
30% - 50%
Notes:
The infill for the flexible things should be around 50 % (Flexifill) and 75% (Filaflex)
because Filaflex is considerably softer as the Flexifill.
That is important to get enough strength to the material.
Also i recommend a layer height of 0,1mm for this parts.
The nonflexible components can be between 0,1 and 0,3 mm, personally i recommend 0,1mm.
You can adjust the agility for the joints with the layerheight as follow:
If lower layer quality choosen, the surface becomes rougher and the moving of the joints are heavier.
If set layer quality higher, the surface becomes smoother and the moving of the joints are easier.
It´s simple but works realy nice for individuell adjustments!
The pressure of the clips are also adjustable and can regulated with the loom band.
Adjust it, how ever you like it.
Some overhangs can be critical on some printer , if you have problems you can add on that areas either some support and/or you change the orientation of the components.
Relevant parts can be "Flexifill-Stand.stl" and "Stand-small_part_deposit.stl".
All other parts don´t need any support.
For the tiny parts i use filamentcooling at 30 % to avoid holes and prevent to overheatig the layers.
Thats all so far. If you have any question feel free to ask me for.
