This is an update to this thing, the Xiphos:

Previously, I was unable to finish the whole sword due to my broken M3D printer. But now I finally did it and also with a simple paint job. I divided the sword into many pieces mainly because my M3D Micro can only print up to a certain size. Shall you be interested in the whole model or other sizes, please inform me and I will see what I can do. If you happened to be an Autodesk Inventor user, feel free to download the .ipt file so you can customize the sword.
The sword in the cover photo was printed by an M3D Micro. The parameters are as follows:
Medium quality
Extra high infill
PLA
0.8 Scale
After finishing all prints, I firstly used Loctite 401 instant adhesive with Loctite 7452 primer to assemble the blade, the guard and the grip separately so I get three parts. After that, I used Z-Poxy to reinforce the strength of the parts as well as to smoothing the surface and filling the gaps. At last, the blade, the guard and the grip were spray painted accordingly and then assembled by Z-Poxy.
